Danabis
Sorry about the topic name, I don't know what's wrong so I can't put a more relevant title. When I go to start my PC (using my bros right now) it'll run through all the usual startup stuff, and just as windows starts loading (I'm using windows XP) a blue screen comes up. It says the problem is 'UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME'. I noticed at startup that some of my BIOS stuff was different (Pri and sec master had changed), so I went in and changed them back to what they should be, but still get the same problem? Anyone got any ideas? I'd give more information if I knew what sort of info to give. Mercifull
Change the primary boot to load from CD Boot to the XP cd and when you see the Welcome to setup press the letter R You will get then get a dos prompt You might need to ender an admin username and password. It's most likely 'Administrator' with the password left blank lol unless you've changed it Then type "chkdsk /p" and hit 'enter' When that is done type "fixboot" and hit enter, press "Y" and enter at the prompt Then type "exit" and hit enter, the system will now reboot into Windows Then simply restart, change back the bios and reboot and see if that works Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Cheers anyway.
