TubbyMcFee
I've been wanting to get my slayer up for some time, and now that i have finished Desert Treasure, i'm finally able to do that. I don't really want 99 or anything yet, but just level up advice. My stats are in my sig, and my slayer is 33 (i'm not updating the words under my sig even thought the stupid thing says i have 1 in a bunch of skills.) So any advice like what slayer masters to use would be great. Thanks

Abc1230
Do smoking kills. Use proper armor with certain monsters (i.e. mage based melee). Whip + rune defender = win YouTube
ilovecardj
First before you slay do the quest smoking kills. Then make some money if you need to buy at the very least the following gear Black mask Glory (fury is better if you can afford) Rune Defender Whip Dragon boots Get barrows gloves if you can, else Best RFD gloves or Regen brace A ring of your choice. Berserker/warrior/life/wealth. I use a berserker but all those are fine. For now id say use torags or someother barrows top/legs for defence. When you get your pray up to about 70, switch to verac skirt and prossy top and use 10% str prayer for training. Always use super attack and str potions. Repotting every 10 levels at the very least. Super defense pots are fine to use as well. An enchanted excalibur is good to use as a spec for now, and would take away need for super defense pots. A cannon for multicombat tasks is good, but can be costly. I would still recommend it if you can afford it. Getting 68 summon for a bunyip is very useful. Id use sumona as a master until you have 50 slayer and 200 slayer points. then block iron and steel dragons and move on to duradel. you can use rune plate/legs for easy tasks to not waste your barrows. guthans is not needed ever (never needed to bank twice on a task all the way to 99 slayer and never ever used guthans) it just slows you down. at 52 you can bring a terrorbird full of pizzas for harder tasks if you need it use pineapple pizzas for food they are fairly cheap an heal 22 hp which is good. that with an excalibur should get your through all your tasks. Block hellhounds next then its up to you. thats all for now :P Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning
Cptbaker08
I would suggest you get strength up to 70 first, then train the rest of the way with the whip on controlled. Besides this listen to what the other have said. Do smoking kills for sumona and the ability to use points. Use a black mask, etc. You get the idea. TubbyMcFee
I like the suggestions, but a few questions. 1.) Is Smoking Kills hard? I'm looking at the guide and it says it has a lvl 111 that uses melee and magic then calls in some help that use range. 2.)The outfit suggested is good, but i need to know how to make cash. I use monks mostley now, but that will take me waaay too long. Any money making tips??

Evilfish1
a good substitute for dragon boots when you are at lower levels (at 33 slayer, you don't really NEED all of that stuff because you shouldn't be assigned that many difficult monsters.) is climbing boots. I would suggest using a drag scimitar + rune defender to get your strength up, to 80 then you can leave or keep going if you like. the drag scim is alot cheaper than the whip, and a good cost cutter until you can make some money by farming herbs while you slay to pay for things. But the very first step is going to be to do Smoking Kills. The 111, honestly don't worry about it. Wear dragonhide and pray melee and eat sharks and you won't have a problem with it. But you really will lose out on a lot if you try to do slaying before then. The black mask, i agree, is a must. I think I'll do Baby Blacks :P
IDreamGreen
I am a big slayer fan. I have 90 slayer myself and still train it today. Slayer is a skill where you have to be patience. A list of basic supplies that is a deffinet must are: Slayer helm (Mask) Fury (Glory) I like Dharoks but you can use any armor, depending on task. Whip (again my weopen of choise but it depends on what you are training and what ur task is) Food: I strongly suggest monkfish as they heal a good ammount (16hp) and cost is not expensive. Lastly, I reccomend that you have someone you can talk to when you slay as it cana become very lonesome, perhaps join a slayer clan?
