July 21, 200916 yr If you won't use them constant, don't buy either of them.You can borrow both for fair prices or if you want to train strength, get the SS and use the whip for att/def training.

July 21, 200916 yr Wrong Whip with rune defender for boss hunting and training. Save up for bandos or a spirit shield instead, much better value.

Well whip doesn't help train strength so its no good if hes looking for a strength training weapon (since both SS and BGS are used quite commonly for strength training). BGS is better then Whip + Rune Defender at lower levels (sub 90/95 att+str) for boss hunting. Bandos legs are overrated and the only good value spirit shields are standard and blessed. The others are way too costly for the average player.
