Firemaking: 70 to 80

Featured Replies

Currently 70 FM and 77 WC, i'm aiming for 80 FM at the moment, any woodcutting exp would be bonus.

I have 30k maples banked from MTK, but i dont mind not using them (i'd sell).

I plan to get the ring of fire now, and the gloves later on at 75.

Should I be using a pyrefield? or is it pointless for 10 exp more?

Should I go WC teaks and burn, Euclpytics?

I just want the fastest/most cost effective way to 80 firemaking.

I have no clue what I should be using, so please post EXACTLY what I should do, as in what i should wear, etc.

Thanks!

i Heard teaks are really good fast exp. You should deffinatly get as much exp as possible whie FM, even if that does include a pyrefiend. but im not sure if you would want to bank them and then burn or what.. kinda just a preference thing

The most cost effective logs to burn for firemaking experience are maples. The fastest would of course be the best logs you can burn. Using a pyrefiend gives you more experience per log, but it is still slower. And definitely wear as many rewards as you can get from lighting beacons.

Pyrelords aren't worth it. It makes FM go much slower since it takes longer to light and u have to click the Fam to burn the logs. Using 2 tinderboxes will be faster.

Maples are cheap for decent FM exp. If you want you could chop Eucs and burn those.
