July 29, 200916 yr So, I thought you needed to be 10 levels over the required summoning level to speak to and understand your familiar, but I'm only level 60 and I can speak to my karamathu overlord (level 58 summoning). What's up with that? I know certain familiars speak English and can therefore be understood no matter the level, but the overlord's speech is in () (I'm pretty sure anyway), like a normal familiar is.
July 29, 200916 yr I'm pretty certain the overlord is special. And I also believe the level needed to understand them is the same as the level required to exchange them for shards, not too sure though.
July 29, 200916 yr you can understand him because he is speaking without saying anything. he is only talking to you inside your head. much like the one gnome who's name i can't spell
July 29, 200916 yr Humanoid Familiars (like titans, minotaurs and stuff) and Telepathic Familiars (I think Karam.Overlord is the only one) can talk to you at any level if you can summon them.
