A tip for people who don't have high enough construction to use a butler to make their planks, with 50 Firemaking it is possible to use the Hot Air Balloon network between Castle Wars and the Varrock balloons, this works pretty well with 18 logs of any type, plus one Willow for the trip to Varrock and one Yew for the trip back to Castle Wars. Using Spotted and Spottier Capes, Penance Gloves and Boots of Lightness will increase the amount of logs you can carry to convert to planks.

Hehe true, I forgot the duel ring let ya do that, either way, its something some folks could find much quicker than running from the east bank.

Nice catch, that would indeed help people who can't get a butler but I'm sorry to say to you but there is a thing about using the balloons for planking here.
