Is ecto worth the extra time, or should i take the exp. cut and use an altar?

The only time you should use ecto is if you're a lazy nub who only likes afkable skills (like me =P) Otherwise use the altar, it's a lot faster.

Or use someone elses alter.

It depends on what you prefer. If you have a lot of time then use the ecto. Using a gilded altar is a lot faster and less annoying.

i would use the altar at all times unless you had prayer brawler gloves, then use ecto, the difference in experience is worth the time.
