August 5, 200916 yr You only have to beat 3 forms to finish that part of the quest, but if you beat the fourth form you get a fremmenik sword, though the fourth form is pretty hard even for high lvl players. You should bring: Good food, a few rings of recoil, a super set and maybe a few prayer potions. GL :)

August 5, 200916 yr I don't think you can bring in prayer potions, not sure on Supers either... In the house north of the long hall. He wants you to prove yourself through fighting Koschei the Deathless in the dungeon under the house. However, you'll have to do this without any armour or weapons. You can do 2 things: Either kill Koschei the Deathless in all four forms, or kill the first three and die to the fourth form. If you choose die to the fourth form, make sure you are NOT wearing a ring of life. Bring prayer pots, super sets and lots of good food if you want to kill him. Even at level 100 players have trouble with the fourth form. Koschei drains prayer while you fight him, but you get it back after the fight. August 5, 200916 yr You can't bring runes, staves, needles or threads. According to rune wiki you can bring the gnome amulet (might be useful to see if you can bring a glory/fury), combat bracelet and explorers ring. I defeated the fourth form with a combat level of 90 by praying melee most of the time and using a couple of recoils at the start. Wasted 15 prayer pots and was afraid that the fight would go on for over 20 mins because Koschei leaves at that point. I would recommend just dying to the last form as there is no reward for killing him other than a useless sword that you could get as a regular drop against easier opponents. 6-7 recoils and rest food if you do try though.
August 5, 200916 yr Bring an unstrung bow and bowstring along with arrows. Once you go down the ladder, string your bow and you can range him.
