What to with my Coins?

Featured Replies

Basically, I quit RuneScape about a year ago now and just wanted to ask everyone's opinion on what I should do with my Coins?

I thought about dropping them but then I thought, if I do ever want to get back into playing again it, (which is very unlikely), I won't have anything to start out with.

I then wondered if I should spend in on a certain skill, at least then it's being used constructively but that means I'm going to have to put time into doing that, basically meaning playing again which, I don't really want to do.

My third and final option, (which seems like the best option to me), is to just keep the Coins, incase I get back into playing again and then it won't like option one because I will have something to start out with.

Any opinions and thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Keep them or else you might end up doing what I did. I quit and dropped most of my items then when I came back I had to basically start over again in terms of money. So ya just keep your coins.

keep the money

You don't need to do anything with anything in the game, because you quit. Why drop anything at all? Just ignore your account. If you ever un-quit, you can come back to it and spend the coins on training skills then. You don't have any way of knowing whether raw materials will be more or less expensive, and long-term merchanting is based mostly on finding undervalued items that may take a while to rise. If you see one of those (like if flax was at 65 gp each or something) then that would be a good place to spend it; if you can't identify anything, just keep the money in cash form and walk away.

If you don't play just ya know don't play.

Theres no need to drop everything.

Trying to invest indefinitely is stupid as you're bound to make a lose.

Investing into skills when you don't want to play is a waste.

Just leave your account alone, it'll be there ready when/if you wish to play again.

Alright cheers guys. I probably would of gone with keeping the Coins as well. I guess the only reason I was asking is because If I was to drop them or use them on a skill, it may deter me from playing again.
