I just got Basilisks as a slayer task, and i'm pretty sick of using the ones in the slayer cave. I just found out i have to kill the Boss Basilisk to get into that area(Pollniveach Slayer Dungeon) so i can cannon. So a few questions on that.

 

1.)At my stats, can i kill him and what should i bring.

 

2.)Can i get to him with just a face mask and mirror shield, not a slayer mask? :thumbsup:

You can kill it; bring a few recoils along with a lot of restore potions and really good food.

I would also suggest praying mage, since that's what it attacks with. For your second question, bring the masked earmuffs that you made during smoking kills so you're not affected by the banshees on the way.

Bring prayer gear and a whip, with a mask+earmuffs and a mirror shield. All you need is a super restore (for prayer and restoration) and some normal restores. If you pray protection from mage you'll be fine.
