New 120x140 pictures in most recent post

 

 

 

 

I don't know if you would do this, but I feel like the pictures in the skill guides are getting old. I took the liberty of updating them. If interested I will continue to finish since I can replace every picture in the guide to current graphics except the crayfish picture which is up to date. I took lots of time on the fishing tutor and the others so I hope you use them. If my addition is out of place I would like to know. thank you tip.it you have helped me so much.

As with any content unsolicited by the crew, you should understand that you're taking a chance of them not using it.

 

 

 

The crew are not unapproachable and while many are busy with other projects, they can tell you whether your efforts have a chance at being used before you spend so much time.

 

 

 

They can also give you more technical specifications for what would be acceptable or desired, such as picture formats and size and space requirements.

 

 

 

Again, nice pictures, but just as a matter of helping out, many times, already large guides are looked at to cut stuff out of, not add more, so if you're replacing pictures, you have a better shot of getting them used rather than adding ones that don't exist.

 

 

 

Contacting a crew member with a PM or with a post in the Website Discussion is probably best at some point during your work, rather than doing all that work and then not seeing it implemented.

Thanks. But I am not looking to add, only to update what was already there. Good inormation about contacts by the way. Next time I will ask a forum moderator first.

What he means is it may not be added because if the current ones are deemed worthy :P

Personally I like them a lot and I agree our current pictures look a bit outdated. However, there is minor problem with your pictures. The size of our current pictures is 120 x 140 pixels. Yours are all quite random. If you could cut the size down to 120 x 140 I'm willing to add them to the guide.

 

 

 

And before I forget it: thanks a lot for your submission and assertiveness. It's really helpful when people post pictures like these without asking. It makes our job of keeping the site up-to-date a whole lot easier.

Yikes that is pretty small. I will fix it though. Thanks for the approval. I'll get right on it.

But I do have one question. Is the fishing tutor picture okay? He isn't within the parameters, but he is close.

Sorry, sorry, sorry, but I forgot something. All your pics are jpg's, which we can't use. We need .png pictures. :( Saving them as .png now doesn't work either, the only way to fix it is to totally remake it. Again, sorry I didn't say so earlier, as I realize this must have taken quite a long time to make. I'll put the tutor on the site and credit you though, changes will take a few days before they appear on the site. If you could try one more time and save them as .png from the very beginning, we'd appreciate it a lot.
