Reoccuring Trojans

Featured Replies

I had a few trojans on my laptiop. I did a complete scan with Avira and another program called Trojan hunter.

Avira picked up about 8 or so. Trojan hunter picked up nothing...

Well anyways, I've tried deleting them dozens of times. I keep getting a dectection pop up by avira, trying every different option to get rid of it, but the pop ups for the same trojans keep appearing.

Then, I tried loading a page and got a blue page saying "Aww snap, the page didn't load" or something like that. Using google chrome, never say anything like that, nor did I download any chrome add ons.

Any advice to kill these little bastards permanently?

I notice that the Aw Snap, Failed to display image only appears when I leave it idle for a moment.

I just downloaded spyware doctor, rated #1 by BestCovery for removing and preventing trojans.

Gunna see how this works out.

Download and run TCPView, see what connections are open. Redirect all strange outbound connections to 127.0.0.1 using the hosts file.

If they still keep on appearing (they aren't downloaded from the web), boot into a live cd and do a scan from there.
