Annoying Firefox Issue

Featured Replies

Ever since yesterday firefox has been annoying me >_>

The issue is that every time I turn off my computer, then turn it back a few hours later (When I sleep and such) it logs me off every single page (TIF, TSG, FB and much others) how can I avoid this? I looked up on options to see if it had an auto clear history option but it doesn't :S

I'm thinking you have cookies set be deleted when you close firefox? Set it to accept cookies until they expire.

You could also try the ultimate firefox fix, opera.

Where do I change the cookies?

Tools > Options > Privacy tab > Under Private Data, uncheck "Always clear private data when closing Firefox."

IF that doesn't work, try:

1. Find your profile folder, easiest way to do it:

Hold down the "windows logo" key on your keyboard

and press R then in that Run dialog paste "%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" (without the qoutes)

and hit enter.

Your profile folder is composed of random characters and, usually, at the end, something like .default

2. Close Firefox and check in task manager that it is closed. (No firefox[Caution: Executable File] running.)

3. In your profile folder, find the file named cookies.sqlite and rename it to cookiesBACKUP.sqlite (doesn't actually matter what you cal it)

4. Restart Firefox, log into your sites.

5. Restart firefox again and revisit the sites to see if it logs you in

automatically (if you have chosen "remember me" or other option on the sites.)
