Yep, half the experience with free runes. Simply pick a spell that won't exhaust your catalytic runes and a quick rate and you can generally get a decent amount of magic experience for free. Although, you'll notice experience rates are much better with the more cash you're willing to spend. This goes with most things in Runescape. :thumbup:
