Ranging waterfiends?

Featured Replies

My friend told me the other day he was ranging waterfiends and it was working fine. The only problem is that he isn't on right now and I want to go kill them with range. Does anyone know what I should bring to them with range or if range is even effective at waterfiends?

I prefer meleeing them as it appears to be much faster than having to rely on safespotting. I've only ever seen Rangers use a safespot on them so I couldn't tell ya how you'd do with them attacking. I'd definitely say with your stats melee is going to be faster.

There's a spot at the Ancient Cavern where you can range the WFS but they can't range or mage you. This, of course, can only be done after aggression is over.

However, it is EXTREMELY slow. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you DO NOT attempt it.

If you want ranging xp AND crimsons, cannon scarabites. It's faster charms than WFS and you'll get range xp.

Yeah ranging waterfiends will be slow as their weakness is crush and stab slash magic and range all miss a lot on them
