gorgoroth
I've alwasys found green charms to be one of the most inaffective ways to train summoning with due the the large ammount of shards needed for the pouches which makes them rather costly. At the current moment i have all the supplies and charms bankes to get me to 80 summoning as well as the additional charms needed to get 84. If i include the green charms into the equation i should have 85 summoning banked but i can't seem to find them worht the cost. If anyone could suggest a green charm pouch that is cost effecient as well as the level needed to make them i would aprecciate it. I have a current goal of 90 summoning if that helps. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Cptbaker08
Making Fruit Bats is probably the best way to use greens at any level past them. But to check how much you make look at these 3 options: [*:32t1s8sm]How much you get back for trading them back in Gu'tanoth. [*:32t1s8sm] How much you get back for selling the pouches on the GE [*:32t1s8sm] How much you get back for trading in the Scrolls on the GE After you figure out which gives more GP back use that method. i_r_slayer
It all depends on how much you value summoning exp really. Some quick calculations I just did assuming pouch swapping: -Fruit bats: 8 gp/xp -Unicorns: 15 gp/xp -Barraging rock lobs: 22 gp/xp (only counting crimsons) Edit:^used swamp titan for this example

Using golds (even though slightly slower) seems much more worth while. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Bladewing
I guarantee you that it is a good idea to use those charms. Say you had 1000 green charms banked. Making Fruit Bats loses you 39 shards (when you swap back in), equaling 975gp loss plus the cost of a banana and a pouch, for a total loss of 1006gp per pouch for 121.2xp. To get the 121,200 xp you give up by not using greens, you'll need 372 crimson charms. Assuming you get them from waterfiends (which are about 105 crimsons/hour at maxed melee with void and piety), you'll need to spend 3.5 hours camping waterfiends. In addition, you will lose 50 shards per pouch (when you swap back in), equaling 1250gp loss plus the cost of a granite (500g) and a pouch, for a total loss of 1425gp per pouch. Fruit Bats: 1,006,000 coins cost, 121.2k xp. Granite Lobsters: 530,100 coins cost, 121.2k xp, 3.5 hours. Money saved: 475,900 coins Time spent: 3.5 hours Money saved/hour: 136k coins/hour So if you make over 136k coins/hour (which you should be able to!), use your greens. I think thats since i have about 3k greens in my bank now i should use them. Also since i'm going to use alot of fruit bats in the future i might aswell make some of my own. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
