sk84life5531
hey tip it ! i havent played RS in about two years and my question is, is daggonath training still effective? and i heard there was an update and now noted food costs more to buy back? is this true and is it still ok to use this method (bringing noted food and selling it)? EDIT: oh and instead of lobsters could i use other fish like monkfish? or tuna? or would this cost more? Thanks!

ultimatballr
I would believe it's still effective but now a days there are a few better ways of training with the release of quests and summoning. For example Armoured zombies from the Defender of Varrock quest can get you over 100k exp and gp per hour (that's with high melee's though) Another way is with the zombie monkies under Ape Atoll temple. This requires a decent summoning level for over 100k exp/hour though. There are many decent guides on these training methods if you wanted more information. But I am sure dags are fine for average exp/hour rates and with the price of Snap seeds getting even 2 in an hours will be more than 100k profit. I do not know about the cost to buy back food though. As to whether you should use other food, I can say this with 99 defence and a Torags top/bottom I never took more than 10 total damage through my task. Apparently, my signature was to big. JoeDaStudd
Pineapple pizzas or monkfish for food. I would try using prayer on the ones in the CT as they drop a lot of crimson charms as well as more then enough drops to pay for the prayer potions.
