wl_daniel
I know alot of people don't know it. Always when I look at a topic form some1 needs music on his Ipot, people will say SOAD,Rolling Stones, more metal and more rock. And that sucks... I really don't like it but it's not why I started this topic. It's really good music with massive bass power 8) I live in Holland it's very populair and the best dj's live in Holland. Aussies prolly know hardcore but I want to know who listen that music to and were you live(if you like it) If you don't know what it is,search it here are some good dj's: Dj Outblast Angerfist Dj Promo.. (and more,,sig) and much more 8)
How2PK
The music you are refering to is internationally known as "gabba", I think. And I don't think you are going to score a lot of points by saying the Rolling Stones suck. But I won't get mad at you, since that is a waste of my time. Been a while since I listened to it (about 8/9 years or so, lol) but what I still find pretty good tracks: Dj Lancinhouse and Dj Jappo - Industrial Strength (outro) Rotterdam Terror Corps - Horror Turbolenza - I am the Creator The Horrorist - Flesh is the Fever Neophyte - Braincracker Neophyte - Army of Hardcore Public Domain - Rock this Joint Dj Weirdo and Dj Sim - Kamikaze The French Connection - French Connection Most of Buzz Fuzz's stuff is good too, Omar Santana and Rob Gee are pretty good Dj's too. P.S. I don't hope you think people from Australia know the music because of the Gabba culture in Holland always wears/wore "Australian" trainingsuits, lol. steend
It's funny that when you say hardcore here in the netherlands they always think about this kind of music... It's just what How2pk said, you have other kinds of harcore too. I don't really like it this kind though, i'd rather have the hardcore punk. If it's only hardcore it's not punk  Hardcore is similar to trance only a better bass and some other sounds. I don't mean hardcore punk/metal or whatever you guys call it. Maybe can How2PK say how they call it,gabby or something :? ,here in Holland it's just hardcore. http://www.mohradio.com it's Dutch but you'll see what hardcore is. Click winamp,it's a radio were you hear hardcore music(or other sort of hardore...darkcore,happy hardcore, speedcore and more such a things) Or else download music form angerfist,dj outblast, points to sig. That's hardcore.
How2PK
I'm from Holland, I am just saying that there won't be a lot of people here that know what you mean when you say Hardcore, sjeez. Gabba is a better term for it when you're going to discuss it on an international forum. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! steend
Have you watched TMF last weekend? they were looking back at the 10years of TMF. They had a special about happy hardcore to. I remember when I used to liste to that... It's just like you, in my younger years I listened to that stuff and now I see it's junk. But I do know that the real hardcore is nothing likethe happy hardcore from back then. Some of my friends sent it to me sometimes, I don't see the point of just one bassline all the time to be honest. But hey, whatever you like, you can listen to... How2PK
Also, I don't think hardcore is a certain music that you should only listen to. On parties it is good, but I can't understand how they can listen to it when they do their homework, or traveling by train. wl_daniel
ok I'll change the name to gabba  Also, I don't think hardcore is a certain music that you should only listen to. On parties it is good, but I can't understand how they can listen to it when they do their homework, or traveling by train. Omg I can't see why you can listen to homework if you are listening: Mozart:you'll fall asleep Death Metal:You'll constantly write death and aaaah and Kill!!!!!! You can say everything about music, but you can say that every music will affect your homework. Do you think your changes are higher if you listen to punk to get a 10 or if you will concentrate at your book with no books.

This topic is about hardcore/gabba, so I say that I can't understand why people listen to this all the time. It's dance music, I don't see how people can sit still while listening to it. And I didn't say anuthing about grades. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

____
Not in my case :P If a song has a good beat to it, I generally work better than usual ;) Which explains why I listen to dance / trance / techno / etc when I code :P
