Gin_and_Tonic
Take bones to peaches tabs if you cant afford guthans to heal. You need to pay a little attention to get the bones, but it saves banking. Take cb pots too, no need to waste money on super sets if you're camping. HexiledRazz
Well, I'll give you all the best advice i have for training there. Just note this is with a larger budget. -Do frammy islands. There really isn't any reason no to do this. Decent combat exp, and gives the best over-all helm in the game. -Sell Bandos chest plate and buy tassets. Replace the chest plate with a fighter torso. -Do RFD all the way through. You really should do this anyway. Dragon Gauntlets are useless unless your: for some reason tanking attacks without fighting back. +12 str and +12 to all combat attack bonuses is just too good to pass up. ...Worse case scenario replace them with a regen brace. -Switch to Rune Defender(DFS around 85 attack; that is, if you can afford it) and whip while training attack and defence. use the SS for str only. -Get a warrior ring. Switch to a zerker ring around 85 attack. -Replace your glory with a fury if you have the cash. -Guthans for healing. If you have the charms and money, get 68 summoning for a bunyip. If all else fails, bones to peaches tabs are your friend. -Always bring a good 5 super pure sets. And duel ring to the dueling arena to restock. This adds so much more to your EXP/HR rate. But if don't want to bother paying attention to re-pot and bank, just skip this. -If you're not using a bunyip, use your best familiar in the combat style your training. Remember, this is the most efficient method i can think of. I doubit you'll be able to afford most of this, so just stick with the ones that you can do. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. tomtunney
ive got 32m im willing to spend on it the rest i dont, i already have fighter torso but the extra defense the bandos plate gives, should make it more suitable for defense bonus allowing me to stay longer at bandits, thus gaining more xp, and im not really fond of quests thats only reason i cant be bothered to get gloves etc,

Take this for a example: I created a Zerker pure not even 2 months ago. In that time, i've gotten 77 str, fighter torso, and dragon RDF gloves. And I'm only 25 more quest points away from being able to get barrows gloves. This might give you a over view. It will only take 2 days max to get them. All well, if you want to be stubborn about it, just buy a regen brace. Even if it has half the stats, it's still better then those horrid Dragon Gauntlets. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. Gin_and_Tonic
I got Barrows Gloves in three weeks on my pure at 66 cb... It was really the best decision i ever did. They're amazing, and even though i know have void, i still use the gloves over void for most tasks... If i can get them without even 43 pray and terrible stats (meaning i have to do the long quests and not the terrible easy quests when you have like 10 hunter) im sure you can... ovorette
Some people just don't like to quest, luckily I am not one of them but I understand it. Try the Regen Bracelet, it is a good suggestion if you are absolutely uninterested in completing RFD.
tomtunney
im not being stubborn i just dislike questing because its tedious and boring thanks ovorette for understanding it though
Gin_and_Tonic
If you have 32m why not buy tassies? They have a good defence and a strength bonus. As for ROL i seriously doubt you'll be in risk of dieing, unless you intend to stay away from your pc for hours on end. Use a zerker ring or warrior ring atleast. If you have the money you'll want to be going for max melee boosting gear... As for barrows gloves, if you really insist on not getting them now, then you never will, so buy a regen bracelet like was already suggested. Also, how are you going to be healing? Running to and from the bank every hour?
tomtunney
i was gonna buy tassies but i merched them so i had to wait ages for them ive also got a ROL because my internet has been disconnecting a lot as of lately, and im not paying 100% attension to the game. id seriously love to get barrows gloves but would never be able to spend the time getting them
Gin_and_Tonic
Well i would really urge you to go for it. I got so many useful quests unlocked getting them and although i hate questing, it was so worth it. The jump from Dragon to Barrows is excellent, +3 strenght bonus alone on Dragon. If you need to wait for tassies, in four hours you could easily get about 25 qps ;) So yeah, im gonna stop pressing on the whole 'get barrow gloves' idea and i'd just do what you want. Try out a few methods and track your xp then see which works best.
ilovecardj
well i really disklike bandits but my suggestions... Get a fury. Its very good Swap out dlegs for verac skirt. Extra defense and 4 pray bonus helps... Regen bracelet aint much worse then d gloves, but with rapid restore u get 4 hp/minute (Fury v skirt help with this) neitzot would help but oh well Use a god cloak for 3 extra pray bonus Get enhanced excalibur. I think with all that pray bonus and an ehanced excalibur, you could probly camp indefeinately without worry. putting on rapid restore when needed. but always bank for more super sets Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning

ilovecardj
He wont need pray pots, with that pray bonus his pray would last for over an hour for sure. but you wouldnt need to pray non stop Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning
