z0diark
What is the best way to use them? I heard that the 350% bonus of the gilded altar and the 4x exp bonus of the gloves stacks if you use bones on your gilded altar in a PVP world, is this true? If so, where is the best place to bank to get more bones? If not, how should I use my brawlers? Also, how much experience can I get from a pair of prayer brawlers? Thanks in advance :)
Danqazmlp
Basically says everything you need: (from total's brawl glove guide) Method #1: Gilded Altar Required Levels: Your own gilded altar is highly preferred (70 con is all you need). Gear: Brawling Gloves, Shortbow. Inventory: Bones, 2 marrentills, tinderbox, dust runes, and law runes. Familiar: Pack Yak (96) > War Tortoise (67) > Spirit Terrorbird (52) > Bull Ant (40) Getting there: Teleport to your house. What to do: Light your lighters and use Dragon Bones on your altar when you get to your house. Use all the bones in your inventory and your familiar, then use a glory in your house to edgeville. Run in the bank, fill your familiar with bones, withdraw another 2 marrentills and bones, and teleport again. Only take about 10 dust runes and 10 law runes at a time and restock then every so often -- you don't want to lose all your runes, I'm sure. You will be getting 378 Experience per Dragon Bone. You could use higher bones, but that would be insanely expensive. Once again, a great trick is to use the mousekeys drop trick when it asks for the number of bones you want to use to select "Offer-5" from the menu. Worship 2 bones, then use a bone on the altar and select offer-5 again. It shaves off like 30 seconds per trip -- which really adds up, saving 25% of your time. You are free to replace the teleports with tabs. You could also use a staff, but if you accidently attack someone in edge... protect item asap. By the way, there is no risk included because of the fact that you lose nothing on death inside your house. You will not receive any hotzone time. With dragon bones, you should receive 481,950 Experience for this method. Method #2: Ecto Gear: Shortbow, D'hide body, glory, warrior ring, Brawling Gloves. Inventory: 13 Pots of bonemeal, 13 Buckets of slime, Ectophial -- how to get will be explained. Familiar: Just a cheap one that raises your level. Getting there: Teleport there with your Ectophial. What to do: In non-PvP, get like 1275 pots and 1275 buckets. Also get your bones. First, start grinding bones at the bone grinder. Tele there with the ecto, grind 13 bones into pot, and then tele to CW or Edgeville or some bank. After those are done (it will be a long time), start taking 27 buckets at a time. Go down to the slime and get buckets of slime. After you have enough of both, go to pvp and start bringing 13 buckets of slime and 13 pots of bonemeal each time you tele. Worship at the altar for all of them, and bank. You will be getting 432 experience per Dragon Bone. With dragon bones, you should receive 550,800 Experience for this method. Method #3: Burying Gear: Shortbow, Glory, D'Hide body, Warrior Ring, Brawling Gloves. Inventory: Dragon bones, tab if you want. Familiar: Pack Yak (96) > War Tortoise (67) > Spirit Terrorbird (52) > Bull Ant (40) Getting there: Run to edgeville wilderness. What to do: Bury the bones in edgeville, using the ones in your inventory and in your familiar. Run back to bank, get more bones, repeat. It's not as much experience, but you MIGHT get a little hotzone, depending on the familiar you use. This is not recommended if you aren't using a Pack Yak, as you will be in hotzone less than 1 minute at a time -- meaning that you are actually getting no hotzone. You will be getting 288 experience per Dragon Bone... you really shouldn't do this unless you really don't want to get a gilded altar or something. A Gilded Altar doesn't take much. You won't even get a full 30 minutes if you bury these bones. Its really not worth it. With dragon bones, you should receive 367,200 Experience for this method. Pretty obvious as to why I'm highly opposed to this method. Want to be my friend?
