September 16, 200916 yr I've been hearing that DKS has changed alot since the update, that prieme roams alot more and that safespots have changed. Can anyone detail to me exactly how this will affect me? I'm going to solo mage, and i go dks alot. Is there anything I need to do differently? Cheers Dragon Riding Cult Leader?
September 16, 200916 yr prime does seem to ram a little farther, but its not too bad if you time it right. old rex safespots still work. September 16, 200916 yr Don't try to catch rex if you see prime nearby, especially if he's watching towards you. And wait for spawns staying close to coast so that prime doesn't catch you. I have always used the most eastern safespot. It has changed too so that it's a lot harder to safespot rex without letting him to hit you once with melee (usually 0s against me but not always of course). Those are the main differences I noticed when i was there for a while ago. Because Prime will catch you more often than before I suggest using verac mage tactic nowadays so you won't waste all your prayer pots for killing him. Up to you of course.
