Smithing xp is per bar. Just find the xp you get for smithing an addy bar (don't know what it is) and you're set.

 

Honestly if you're smithing addy I'd have guessed you'd know by now.

 

Also it seems my Firefox spellchecker doesn't recognize "smithing"
