1. I didn't think you could have level 25 ramparts. I thought the extra level thing ONLY worked in the outskirts. Hmmm... In famous cities, you are able to upgrade everything above level 20. In Zhou(purple) and Barbarian(yellow) cities you can build and research to level 25. In Shang(blue) cities, you can build and research to level 30! The faction of the city also determines what kind of troops(skilled, expert, or master) it creates.
2. The game has moved out of beta(although there are still many bugs and unimplemented content) and there will be no restarts.
3. Most of those seem nice, although overpowered. Having 99 cons myself, most of these would be nice.
4. Some of us on the Royal Garden server are actually pledging allegiance to the FTP Alliance, since they are by far the best Zhou alliance, and it would be in the best intrests to get their clan to level 5.
5. Here's mine. Currently working on my villages, to get more gold per hour.
6. The special attack is a 50% drain, not 100% as the guide says.
7. Ok, so I'm up to 4672 reputation on the Royal Garden server. I'm currently upgrading my resource buildings to level 9 to try and get the second logistics task done. Then I'll start collecting as much gold as I can and do the Aspiration 2 task. Also, as luck would have it, my second account I made is about 12 squares away from my other city.
8. Yeah, I think only Red Dragon got reset. My account in Royal Gardens(which is actually better) is still up and running. Anyone feel like making the Golden Horde Alliance again? I would, but I have very little gold.
9. I know, I can't build/upgrade because of a lack of it. Got farrrrrrr too much food though. >.> I have the wood, I need food. :wall: Sooo, do I have to be in Frozen peak to join the clan? If so, I may as well start a new character, I haven't done much on mine.
10. Here's a picture of the new trident's special attack. [hide][/hide] Crew Edit: Thanks so much for this! :) I actually added this into the Special Attack section of the Combat Guide, rather than the Barbarian Assault minigame guide. You were credited within the Combat guide. Again, thanks so much for your help. - SerpentEye
11. So after a few hours of work, I got myself one of the new tridents. After a few tries, I managed to get the special attack to trigger. As regards to the set special effect, it restored 3 prayer points every minute or so. Oh, and the special attack drains 50% of the bar.
12. The most obvious thing I can see would be to swap the proselyte legs out for Verac's skirt, and the incomplete Zammy book out for a granite shield. The added defense will make you use less food, and less time spent eating will make up for the slight prayer and magic loss from the granite shield.
13. Well, it's pretty easy to calculate. Say you want 4800 points. If you get 22 points per game, 23 minutes per game, it will take about 84 hours. If you use a fast-SC chat and get 24 points from a 15-minute game, it will take about 50 hours. Hope it helps!
14. FRC huh? These next six weeks will be very... very hectic ;_; But hopefully we'll be seeing you guys in Atlanta! ;) Good job, building a house can be pretty satisfying at level 55; I can imagine it must have been a ton of fun at 98  10/10 Yep, FRC. Just got back from our last pre-season meeting. And hopefully we will see you at championships. Except, they're in St. Louis this year. Thanks for the congratulations everyone. I just held my first open house in world 31 today. At the peak I must have had 50 people in the house using the gilded altar and lecturn. :^_^:
15. Thanks everyone! Right now, school is starting again, as well as robotics club, which will take up a LOT of time. So, I will not have much time to play. I will probably just get on whenever I can and do whatever I feel like doing. Slayer is one of those things I love, so getting to 90 may be an option. To those of you intending to do the same as me, don't burn yourself out with Stealing Creation. The best thing is to vary your playing style. Play a few games of getting 20k score then going to ancient everyone else. Then maybe switch over to a fast-SC chat and do a few games there. Or you could go on lunar magic and use vengeance-other on people. There's a lot of different and fun ways to play. :^_^:
16. Yeah, you just wish you had it. And is that an oversized avatar I see? Prepare to have that removed. Thanks Morningrise333!
17. A little over a year ago, I achieved a goal I had been working on for over two years, 99 attack. (Here) After that, I just played around for a while, doing whatever I wanted to do. But I found myself getting bored with no goal to be working towards. I had a decent-sized cash pile at that time(~65M) and I wanted to use some of it to skill with. I thought about getting another 99 to trim my attack cape with, but I didn't want an easy, common one. Then it hit me. Construction was the perfect answer. I had heard that it only cost 45-50M if you used Stealing Creation hammers. So off I went to SC. Being the not-so-active player that I am, it took me several months to acquire the 4800 points I would need. Luckily, I bought the planks before I started getting the points at a price of ~440gp each. This picture was taken on the 12th of August. With SC hammers, you can get 500k exp per hour by making oak doors. But this requires constant clicking, which I just cannot handle. I would try to use 5 hammers per day (255k exp), but I simply was too bored of it. Slowly but surely I was getting closer and closer to 99. However, sometime in early November, I was grounded, so I could not use the computer at all. On the 24th of December, I was finally allowed back on. I was now refreshed and ready to do more construction training. In the past 10 days, I have gained nearly 3m exp. I also decided to get 1900 total at the same time. Today, after training my other skills to 1899 total and after a particular friend had logged on, I messaged all my friends to come to my house for the party. Quite a few showed up, and we had a good time. I have spent a total of about 38M on building my house. I based the design off someone else's that I had seen at some point. The layout is open, with everything I will need available. It also has a reasonably sized dungeon, with a steel dragon guarding the treasure chest.
Over the next few days, I'll touch it up a little more, then open it up to the public for some house parties. So, do you like it?
18. ^^^ O rly? So have I!
I'm in the process of making my 99 construction house. I've already spent over 30m on it. :-| But I have a steel dragon, which is cool.
19. As of right now, we don't know a whole lot about it. It is the symbol of the dragonkin, as we learned at the end of the While Guthix Sleeps quest. It's theorized that the castle used to be a dragonkin fortress. I'm not completely sure on all the lore and history, so someone else may be able to fill you in better.
20. I think I remember the symbols being related to the Stone of Jas, or maybe it was the Dragonkin. I'm pretty sure it was to do with the While Guthix Sleeps quest. :-|
21. There are quite a few Duradel tasks that can only be "unlocked" after a quest. There are some you may not want to be assigned, as well. There are also some new locations or monster variants that are unlocked by quests. Abberant Spectres: Doing the Smoking Kills quest unlocks a multi-combat location with lots of monsters that can be cannoned. Goraks: These are much easier to kill at the fairy ring DIR, which requires FTP2 to be started. Mithril Dragons: These can only be killed after completion of the barbarian training at Baxtorian lake. Scarabite Minions: These are unlocked after the Contact! quest, I believe. Most people do not like this task until they complete the Missing My Mummy quest, when you unlock a room of easy lvl 42's. Suqahs: These require the Lunar Diplomacy quest to be completed. Warped Terrorbirds: This is another task hated by most slayers. They are unlocked after The Path of Glouphrie quest. I also highly advise doing the Smoking Kills quest, as a whole bunch of slayer rewards can be gained from it. Hope this helps.
