HorrorCore and recent killings

This reminds me of a story out of NH that I heard about on the radio last month. (links are here and here) I've said it before (maybe not here) and I'll say it again, you cannot blame the media for people's psychosis. It doesn't matter if it's music, video games, or movies. The people who commit these crimes need to take responsibility for their own actions. Did you know that in 9 out of 10 cases, the people who start this whole "blame the media" thing are actually the defense attorneys? It's basically taking the blame off of the criminal! It's ridiculous.

Also, what's funny is that the lady on the radio who I heard about this story from called the genre "new". I should have called in that day and told her that just because it was under her radar doesn't mean it was new to the rest of the world. Then again, I don't like that lady. It's on this talk radio station that my fiance listens to. He doesn't like her much either.
