Ok thought I'd make new topic to tidy up, here it is as of the ranger being completed. Ok fixed the hat (I think) and the mage is now fully shaded, plus gave the ranger and 2nd hand whihc i had missed

my line work is to blame for that. Once i get to end and tidy off all the black outlines it makes bigg difference

I dont think cleaning the lines will make a difference at all.

 

 

 

Your characters only have front side, they have to have shaded laterals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you make them on the diagonal, they have to have a side, otherwise they look paper.

Well they have got as muhc of a side as they can have. And trust me it looked like that when I did my first sig, once i sort the black lines out it makes alot of difference

Well i don;t mean it like that. I juts know from my previous work when I sort the lines out it looks a fair bit more 3D. And, it my be me being slow, but I don't get how to give them more side

your sigs are like mine, so flat that people walk right over them

I don't know how to say that, but make your chars as if they were looking at the camera, and not diagonal to it.

 

 

 

It makes it much easier to give the impression they are 3d.
