Peronix Posted December 18, 2009 Share Posted December 18, 2009 For anyone interested: I whipped up a console program in C++ to crunch some numbers, with the odds based on the OP's log, and based on 100,000 total trials: The average number of kills to get 10 claw drops is 2230.35. The maximum in the 100k trials was 6501. The average highest drystreak in 10 claw drops was 650.873. The highest drystreak in the 100k trials was 3417. Note that "drystreak" only counts claws; this does not count ruined pieces. So, in other words, I don't feel so bad now; my having logged over 350+ kills since my last claw drop (though I got a ruined piece last trip luckily).
