Armoured zombies, which method for me.

Hi.

 

My stats are -

89 strength

72 defense

75 attack

70 prayer

 

Im currently training at armoured zombies. And I'm wondering which would be the best exp for me. I have fire cape, barrow gaunts and beserker ring, torso. Aswell as salve amulet E.

 

Should I wear dragon legs and guthans body and dragon square shield, and tank it? only using piety.

 

Or should I wear proselyte legs and body and defender, and pray melee and piety.

 

Method 1 I'll still be having to recharge prayer almost as much as method 2, and ill be getting hit and having to eat more. method 2 Ill have to recharge prayer slightly more often, and I will have to watch over the game more.

 

I am struggling to see why people tank their with piety, when you can use full prayer bonus and pray melee and only have to recharge slightly more often.

What exp rates would I be getting for both methods?

Using Void would be much better if you have it. Just pray Melee and 10% Prayer (iety if you must). Otherwise i would go with the Torso/Prossy option.

Hey.

 

Does the void special boost make up for the lack of str bonus, Id lose over 15 strength bonus when using the void, and I'd lose attack bonus to.

Whats your summoning level?

 

If its 68+ just use a bunyip and tank with any setup as piety + rapid heal + bunyip should offer enough protection/healing.

If your using a whip use a defender with any of the setups.

 

EE, SGS or super defense pots should counter any trouble from your low defense.

Hi My summoning level is only 25 unfortunatley, thankyou for all the opinions so far. I'm interested in seeing if salve ammy and melee void stack. And if the void is better than maxxed str bonus

Yep it works perfectly.

 

I get 5% to 10% more exp with void when compared to the other options.

 

I would recommend you wear barrows armour (I've seen guthans used there) as well as some food. As without 68 summoning you will take noticeable damage in void (ie not last longer then about 20 minutes)

Yes but with void I can pray melee, that way I dont get hit at all. And with barrows armour and piety, Id have low pray bonus so i'd still have to be recharging prayer all the time.

To add to this void is worse then barrows for prayer bonus as you have to have the 0+ prayer bonus on gloves, top (veracs works well), bottoms (veracs again) and helm (neitz is supreme).

true but salve e has a prayr bonus and when using void you can also pile on prayer bonus boots, fally shield 3 and a ring with prayer bonus. not to mention cape slot all in all to give a fairly high prayer bonus.

 

Though the same is true of barrows as well
