Can Tz-Tok-Jad be poisoned?

Featured Replies

I'm guessing no, but I just want to make sure before I try for a fire cape tonight.

He is totally immune to poison.

(Pretty sure, anyways. :?)

Wouldn't be worth while to do so anyways, you'd either have to get withing melee range or use emerald bolts (e), the first is suicide and the second will slow down the kill.

Plenty of people melee'd Jad.

He could poison rune arrows. But if you're plan is poisoning jad and hiding behind a rock, I don't think it'll work. The healers will most likely heal the jad from the poison and heal the damage faster than it took the poison to deal it.

Nah. I was thinking of using emerald bolts to poison him and then switching to diamond bolts for the rest of the fight.

Oh, you'll be fine with enchanted diamond bolts. The extra damage from poison won't be that drastic. Switching ammo will be another distraction in the fight; you want to be as focused as possible.

^ What he said, there is no need for switching ammo, focus on your prayers.

Think about it, we used to do it with a crappy crystal bow.
