Sara GWD

I got 70 agility from WGS (I honestly only ever trained about 30k of agility exp the rest was lamps, penguins and quests).

 

Now I'd love to try Sara GWD

Heres my stats

I currently have the following;

SGS

Full guthans

Veracs top and skirt

With standard boss hunting gear (d boots, barrows gloves, zammy/sara/bandos items and so on)

 

I don't have whip (I'll buy it back once prices stabilize again) and I don't have fury.

I have 5m I can spend on supplies/equipment.

Ps. If ranging is superior by a long stretch then I'd be willing to drop 3 of the 5m on chinning to 85+.

get to 120 combat so you have more chance of getting in a team. as for setup:

sgs

full guthans

zammy vambs

fury/glory

d boots

best cape you got

 

invo:

guth spear for healing on mager after zil is dead.

3 titan + scrolls so you won't need any food at all

3 super attacks

3 super strengths

5 sharks incase of emergency

teletab

7 prayer pots

 

that should be enough.

 

with a team ranging is much better and most high levels just melee her with a gs.

 

EDIT: Don't forget those 2 ropes if it's your first time down there!

EDIT: Don't forget those 2 ropes if it's your first time down there!

In a 4+ man team, meleeing is generally more effective, as you can kill her quicker and if you have a unicorn (don't have much experience with other methods) not need any food at all. I've lasted in a trio team for around 50 kills before, but then I ran out of brews (only brought 2) so I had to tele. So for 3 man or less, ranging is probably more effective as you could probably get more kills. In 4+ man teams, melee is more effective from my experience.

 

As for you Joe, I'd agree with intervention. Since you only have a titan, guthans would probably be needed. I use no prayer pots with verac's armour and a zamorak godsword, so with guthans you would most likely need prayer potions. You might also want to consider using a fruit bat, but I'm not too sure on how effective it is now that they removed the spamming of fruit bat's ablity.

I agree with every thing that the above poster said, but make sure to also bring a super restore to refill summoning, and I did not have any problems with prayer in just bandos+neitz/fury so verac top/bottom most likely is not necessary to go without using prayer pots.
