Slaying Kalphites

I just got a task of 153 Kalphites and I have never had these to slay before.

How would I go about killing these monsters and what would be a good set-up and inventory for me to use.

Best way would be to take 100 slayer points and block them.

 

But if you want just take normal melee def gear and kill them. You can kill the higher level ones but bring some antipoisons. You can also bring a cannon to make the task go faster.

 

But it still is a bad task, and slow even if you do cannon.

1) Take 2-3 superantipoisons, super set, best melee gear, bunyip/guthan or other healing and whip (don't use keris) Cannon if you want to (~2k balls per task). Get there from shantay pass (you'll need a ticket and a rope), from BIQ fairy ring (staff and rope) or from the dorgeshkhaan fairy ring (staff and a light source, this is imo the fastest route)

 

2) or you could block the task.

 

Kalphites are fast xp with cannon, nothing special if you don't cannon. They drop a fair amount of charms I think.

If you don't like any of these guy's ideas then kill the extremely low leveled ones. I get kalphites regulary and I ALWAYS fight the low leveled ones. They do not poison so anti-poison is not needed, and they don't hit as high or hit you. Maybe 1 food is needed (possibly a lobster) and that's all you need.
