well i started training slayer again at level 59, i am now level 72 and ive noticed i get a lot of the same tasks, out of 44 tasks atleast 25% are fire giants,50% are non slayer monsters the other 25% are aberants bloodvelds and rarely dust devils. I'm just wondering if this is common?

Ya, I get a lot of hell hounds and fire giants. :(

Ya it happens to quite a few people. Just tough it out or try switching to a new master or blocking some tass you get a lot of.

oh ok cool, i don't mind the fire giants as i'll probably never have to buy another fire rune again, and the hell hounds level 3 clues and charms pay off, i was juts curious. and wondering why i barely get actual slayer monster tasks.

I always seem to get Gargoyles and Greaters. I think it's common.

Ya i had the same amount of luck to. I never had Gargs, Nechs, Dusties, or Spiritual Mages until the late 80s. Didn't get mages until 90. Same with Wyverns. But i do have loads of fire runes.

Depends on the master and luck.

I've always had good luck with leveling then getting the task for that level almost straight after (excluding GWD monsters).

Hellhounds get annoying over time (poor drops and mostly gold charms).

 

Your lucky with 25% fire giants and the 25% with spectors, dust devils and bloodvelds (cannon the mutated ones for amazing exp).

yea their right just depends on luck because in my last 25 tasks i got 18 turoth tasks and 7 kurasks(luckily not all back to back) ,and i used summona so i switched yesterday my first 3 tasks were suqahs,waterfiends,suqahs again. At 75 slayer i've only had 1 dusties task and maybe 3 or 4 spector tasks which to me are kind of fun and huge profit.
