Barb Fishing vs. Shilo Fishing

Featured Replies

I heard that "cut-all" in Barb fishing made it slower, to the point it's no faster than Shilo fishing. Is this true? Can anyone give me updated rates? I'm just getting back into fishing so I can complete the Ardy elite diary eventually.

Thanks in advance.

I've done 55k an hr with mouse keys droppin while barb fishing, I'd imagine quite a bit more is technically possible(70k or so). Shilo maxes at 46k according to everything I've heard.

Thank you for your reply.

So it's better to drop than "cut all," apparently?

I cut all and drop my cutoffs. I really am starting to prefer shilo, as barb fishing takes a more focus.

Barb >> any other fishing method. I can average about 60k/hour at 99 wtih a granite lobster and dropping... Don't listen to ANYTHING anybody says if they tell you that cutting is faster. They do NOT know what they're talking about and you should ignore them.
