Hello jagex,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i have a very good idear about hollydays...we got enough room on the runescape map so

 

 

 

maybe its a good idear to make a island...you go there with boot its only open on the

 

 

 

hollydays like cristmas halloween and stuff like that the boat trip is free offcourse

 

 

 

for all players (f2p-p2p) example

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

cristmas...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the island has snow on it you got cristmas tree's on it santa is there stuff like that

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

halloween...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

all stuff from halloween on the island dont know what stuff because its not a tradiotion in holland

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

thanksgiving...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

sorry that i dont know all the hollydays but i could collect some by asking people...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

this island is not big it has 1 town in it called (hollydaytown??) i play this game for a long

 

 

 

time now and i know people are always like i wanna have a special drop blabla but wanna do something

 

 

 

to just have fun and not some money making hollyday i hope you read my idear and send back a massage

 

 

 

and sorry that i didnt post it in the forums if you wanna have some more idears about this island

 

 

 

i could draw some stuff and send it over or anythink just ask me :D i would like to help...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i also know some people wont like this because they wont get cash out of it but its just for fun :D

I doubt they'll give you a response to that, seeing as you can't spell holiday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, saying that, the idea having a holiday island, which changes in the holiday season, actually sounds really good and fun! It wouldn't be much hassle for Jagex and all the players would know where to hang out for holiday fun and holiday gifts (ala the yo-yo and rubber chicken etc)

 

 

 

I really like this idea, it would allow Jagex to make the game more seasonal without changing the whole world, ie. they can put snow on the trees in holiday island for christmas without having to change all the other places.

dude, its a really nice idea, but jagex is never going to read your query because you are f2p, and sending messages to customer support as an f2p is like talking to a wall, and because of you spelling. PLEASE try to improve your spelling, im from holland too and my spelling doesnt hurt other peoples eyes (or atleast i hope so).

yerr, that's kinda stupid, because when you are f2p you have nothing to say on rs, well most of the things, but yea those are really good ideas, too bad they never get use those ideas. One thing would be really kewl, a grim reaper suit for halloween, that would be nice going with the scythe that was dropped a year or 2 ago :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and one thing, give the dutch ppl a break, some can't type english that good.

Wow. Although I think the idea is cute, it makes me think of the game room. It's absolutely deserted just about everytime I go there. I imagine the same would happen with this proposed "hollyday" island :)

Great idea! One of the few I actually like on these forums, and that's saying something.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, as many have said before, the truth needs to be recognized. I understand you're from Holland and English is not your native tongue, but Jagex won't read anything that is spelled so horribly wrong that even your "boot" and "boat" are inconsistent. I mean, I understand mispelling one word the same way a few times, but mispelling it numerous times with a different spelling each time will show Jagex (and me) that apparently you didn't put too much thought into writing the letter itself. My suggestion would be to please check dictionary.com, etc etc or ask a complete fluent-in-English friend to spellcheck and grammar check it for you. It will make it way more persuasive than it is now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But the idea itself, in raw material, is wonderful. I think it has much potential, and should Jagex do something similar to this, I would be entirely happy. Christmas and Halloween on the island would be spectacular...plus, this could be THE way that Jagex introduces Holiday drops. (Untradable, of course)

good idea :D if so jagex will have no need to add those holiday things on the busy places like the cities. they would be able to concerntrate on a smaller area so this may result in better things(like snowing weather during christmas)

Another thing I think would be nice for the island would be to have little mini-games for each holiday. You could play them in order to get the drop(s) for that year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For example, during Christmas there could be Bobsled races between you and a few NPC's...if you win, you get...something. Lol, just a thought.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And maybe for Halloween there can be a haunted carnival with rigged fair games. :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Easter, I'm supposing an Easter Egg hunt, that requires you to solve a puzzle to get the drop.

also, upon logging in, a message indicating that it is a holiday season, and telling people how to reach this "Holiday Island" would be useful.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i love this idea, and have some concept ideas to add on:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

for christmas: covered with snow, and christmas trees everywhere, with the santa NPC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

for halloween: Dark, with dead trees, along with a grim reaper and some bats flying around (the only time that F2P can interact with bats). And the customary Jack-o-lanterns.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For easter: An easter bunny, along with baskets of easter eggs on the floor. Eggs can be takn individually from these baskets, and are untradable.
