(Heroes of might and magic)

 

I'm surprised there isn't a general Homm thread already on these forums. It's not that unknown people :(

 

 

Homm is a turn based strategy game revolving around players as they construct towns, heroes and armies as they vie for dominance of the map.

There are 5 homm games and a 6th homm game rapidly approaching.

 

 

 

SO what is your favorite homm? I personally prefer homm 3 and 4. 5 was okay but underwhelming overall and i've never played 2 or 1.

Although i've never been able to play tournaments since i don't have 5 hours to boil.

HoMM 2 and 3 are the best, 3 probably better than 2 by a bit. I used to play them a ton but got bored of the series with the more recent iterations.

I've made two thread about HOMM 3 and HOMM 5 over the years but they never really live on here.

 

Homm 2, bring a simple nostalgic feeling to me.

Homm 3, is undoubtedly the best one of them all. Still playing it over and over again. The possibilities are endless!

Homm 5, just could never get into it, it's too different

I played one of the old ones but i'm unsure on which it was when i was younger, i remember a behemoth unit, and an eyeball unit if that helps.

 

I have the 5th which i brought a few years back and really enjoyed playing through the campaign.

It may of been the 3rd one. The was definitely my favorite. I completed all the campaigns several times, and just generally owned.

I never beat all of 3's campaigns... too difficult especially in armageddon's blade. and Wog and Chronicles i do not have.
