November 18, 200916 yr I have a T-mobile Pulse, and I'm bored of T-Mobile refusing to update the firmware from android 1.5. I want to install Cyanogen, but I don't know how, as all the guides are written for americans, but they don't have the pulse over there. Apparently, every phone has a different install sequence, so I don't know what to do. Can anyone help? So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.
November 19, 200916 yr I've only done this on a G1/Dream so I'm definitely not an expert but you can try this... If you haven't rooted yet:http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile-pulse-pulse-modaco-com/294178/13-10-1-0-rooting-the-pulse-introducing-superboot/ Then to get a recovery image so you can flash ROMs read this:http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile-pulse-pulse-modaco-com/294290/15-10-1-2-3-installing-amon-ras-patched-recovery-image-on-your-device/ As for ROMs, I'm not quite sure where to find ones that work on the Pulse, but I'm pretty sure the regular CyanogenMods won't work. You can look around that site, I didn't explore much.
November 23, 200916 yr Author Installed the Modaco ROM, and trying the Cyanogen one now. This is awesome. That Modaco forum is one of the most helpful I've ever visited. November 23, 200916 yr Author Does caynogenMod work on the Pulse? Thought it only worked on the Dream and the Magic? Seems not. It just won't use it. Though I'm using Modaco and downloading an overclocking app (rooted only), and it's now fast as anything. It's awesome.
