What exactly does Holy Wrench do?

The Holy Wrench is a reward for the completion of the Rum Deal quest. If players have it in their inventory when they drink a prayer potion or super restore potion, they will regain an additional 1-3 Prayer points, depending on your Prayer level, although many players report an increase of only one point regardless of prayer level. If a player loses their holy wrench, they can obtain a new one by talking to Davey on Braindeath Island. Having more than one holy wrench in your inventory does not further increase prayer gain.

Some players find the wrench rather useless, as the wrench takes up an inventory space which could instead be used for a Prayer potion. However, the wrench is technically free, while prayer potions can be very expensive, so it can be used as a slightly less effective, but more economical alternative.

 

Taken from the RS Wiki. I guess it just gives 1 at lower lvls. Mid lvls it gives 2 and higher levels it gives 3. I'm at 71 prayer and i get 2 extra per dose if that helps you any.

Hm, you're sure? Cause I've hear a lot of different things from different people. Surely someone's tested it thoroughly?

I just know that without the wrench i get healed 24 and with it i get healed 26.

You sure you didn't use a prayer pot for the 24 and a super restore for the 26, because super restores give more prayer points per dose. AFAIK, it only gives 1 extra prayer, regardless of the level.

Pretty sure as i only used prayer pots on tasks.

 

Edit: Just tested it. Got 24 without the Wrench and 26 with it. So what i said was right.

I only get one extra point with the wrench at level 70 (25 instead of 24) so, from what was said above, it seems 71 is the lowest level that gives two extra.

I get 2 at 71, which i stated earlier in the topic. I would say that to get a 3 boost you would get it at lvl 99. Idk about where it goes from 2-3, but its some where between 71 and 99.
