blakdragon39
So I got an Aquanite task for the first time. Went to try killing, prepared with magic defence. Got my Bunyip and Swallow Whole scrolls too. Get there and find out these guys make me a food hog. xD So is there a better way to go about killing them? Should I be using something other than a whip? Something other than a Bunyip? (I only have 74 summoning.) Suck it up and go fish lots of monkfish? Any suggestions are helpful, thanks. :D
Cptbaker08
They're weak to stab, so a Zammy Spear would work better. Also having an Enhanced Excalibur/SGS to heal with helps some. With a Unicorn it seems to be much easier to stay longer. If you're having problems try praying some of the time to help defend from/kill them. blakdragon39
Zammy spear on stab, that would definitely be something to try. :P I'd use a unicorn, but I'm forever away from 88 summon, so that won't happen in the near future. I'll try the spear for sure, thanks!

Cantristenon
Zammy spear on stab, that would definitely be something to try. :P I'd use a unicorn, but I'm forever away from 88 summon, so that won't happen in the near future. I'll try the spear for sure, thanks! I used to range them in full armadyl with spectral and bunyip with scrolls. Still had occasionally problems with staying at full health without additional food. By the way, saradomin brews used with normal restores is pretty good idea to use as food (3 sarabrew+1 normal restore = 48 hp healing in 1 inventory space). Just drink 3 doses before using your boost potions. Current prices of sarabrew (4) is 2,869 and normal restore (4) is 264. Thus cost of hp healed is (2869*3+264)/(16*4*3) = 46gp/1 hp. (assuming brew heals 16 hp per dose as it does at high levels). While this doesn't beat the cost of monkfish (34 gp per hp) it's cheaper than shark or pineapple pizza while offering a lot more healing per inventory space. blakdragon39
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Using a zammy spear HUGELY lengthened the amount of time I could stay at Aquanites. I generally fish my own food, make my own potions, etc stuff like that, so I'll stick with monkfish, which isn't a problem for me. I'm definitely feeling more successful there now. :)
