November 26, 200916 yr Hello, lately I've been wondering how to send audio directly from my sound card to someone else (e.g over vent or msn).I googled it and ended up going into sounds, enabling stereo mix and setting it as my default device for recording. However, I've noticed that it only works properly if I'm using the Sound Recorder (that is already installed on vista) - if I try and send audio directly to someone on msn it records it from my microphone. Anyone have any ideas on how I could be able to send audio directly from my computer to someone else? Thanks. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

If you're using a card from the soundblaster series, you can choose an option called "What U Hear" which will allow you to record any audio that passes through your soundcard.

Realtek will be onboard sound. anyway, this should be quite simple. go to your sound mixer and click recording. choose "stereo mix."then in msn, click Audio Setup Wizard and choose this option when it asks you to choose microphone. It should then send all audio from your soundcard when you record sound, start an audio conversation etc. I can't say for Vent but it'll be a similar process.
