How should I train mining?

Because of some reasons, I want to mine at living rock cavern for afk mining xp, but how should I get 77mining(2 more lvs to go)?

 

I usually mine 1 star twice a day with my friends(sometimes multi-worlds hunt), should I rely on it for xp, or minw granite for xp?

 

Also, can some1 give me a rough estimation on the xp rate at living rock cavern? And should I ge 83sum(now 81) for lava titan?

I got 86 mining.

And to be honoust: I never mine in P2P...

I wait till my membership runs out and then I force myself to powermine till the next level.

After reaching the level I pay for a new period of members... :rolleyes:

I think mining is a free skill since there aren't member ores or anything and useless to train in P2P, but that's my opinion...

If in the short term you're asking on how to get to 77, I would suggest just grinding out granite in the desert. It may be painful and profitless, but it should take less than a week and you'll be on to more fun things afterwords. :)

Go on a living rock killing spree with a pickaxe in your inventory! :D Probably not the best exp, but the minerals are stackable, and I think if you bring Guthans you heal enough from the special activating that you could probably stay down there as long as you like. (and probably with a 'yip so long as you recharged summoning every so often and 'as long as you like' is classified as 'until you run out of bunyip pouches in your inventory') Mind you, I'm guessing here.

 

And then when you get 77 mining you can just wander over to the nearest coal deposit!
