Why different gear?

Featured Replies

I was looking through the different methods for doing barrows on J3benice12's guide, and all methods except for the rune method hace barrows gloves and a fury. Rune method uses glory and rune/addy gloves. Is there a reason for this? or is it just to keep cost down or something?

Barrows:

Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,

Torag- Body, Hammers

Karil- Crossbow

Guthan- Body

Ahrim- Hood, Staff

That set up is pointed towards the low level or someone who doesn't have a lot of money, or even someone doing it for the first time and doesn't want to risk a lot.

Glory can be used to teleport to Edgeville, so you can sell your items easier - but on the gloves front, I think it is to keep down the cost. If you have barrows gloves and a fury, use them.

The point is, sets aren't concrete - you should mix and match until you find a setup that feels right for you.
