December 6, 200916 yr Hello everybody  It already has been quite a lot time ago since i was on these forums for the last time and it's really nice too see that a lot of the good artists have been developing even more  About this, it's been almost a year ago since i turned my good old photoshop CS2 on and i decided that the website of my soccer team could use a update. So after a lot of hustle and some highly needed inspiration this is what came out as the header. However i quite like it, i'm really interested what you people think of it and what i could do to improve it.Also i really would like to know if i should put an apart navigation bar or use the black strip in V2 to put the navigation links. [hide=here]V1: v2:[/hide] C/C and positive reactions are really welcome
December 6, 200916 yr Wow those are nice. As I have no skill what so ever in this form of art im always awed by how you guys can do this. I love the shine and the blue dots. I can't really grade it as I know to little by ill give you a thumbs up instead then =p
December 6, 200916 yr Looks pretty good. In picture A, there's too much space at the bottom imo. (makes the soccer player unaligned vertically) I prefer a navigation bar with buttons to one with links, but thats just me.I'd cut it off where the dark starts on picture B, then put the nav bar up against it. I like the simplicity of it, good work. Draw what you see, not what you think-you-see. --Carl Purcell
December 7, 200916 yr Author Thank you both for the positive comments  glad you like it  NoFuns about the navigation: i am thinking of making buttons, which i meant with links, in the darker space. I'm gonna work on that today, just like the start of the content area, which unfortunally will take a lot of time  Also i also prefer version 2, since i also don't like the vertical alignment of 1... But i was curious about what you guys thought  I also think i'm gonna update the whole progress of the site with some hits/tips if someone is interessted in it... :^_^:
December 7, 200916 yr I think that without the black gradient, it would have a blank area that's too large. Its definately just opinion, but I like it. Draw what you see, not what you think-you-see. --Carl Purcell
