Compared to convention smithing (bars -> items) with SC hammers, gold w/ gauntlets is CHEAPER, but SLOWER compared to Adamant. It's also cheaper + slower than mithril plates, and my guess is that it is cheaper and more or less the same speed as mithril bolts/arrows. But it's sort of a volatile market, if you know what I mean. Your choice, though. ~It's Super Effective!
