ok, so sort of. In my first day of being back after a month, i finished off my last 17 black demons from last time, and i thought i'd check out the new slayer master. after a pleasant but sad conversation discussing the death of her father, i asked her to give me a new task. She told me to kill 180 Tzhaar, but then she paused, and asked me if I would like to increase that to 280. As I am going for an untrimmed slayer cape, i was slightly hesitant, i'd rather go for lots of small tasks to get points to buy xp, but i thought i may as well, i've never even killed a Tzhaar outside of the caves.

 

Then she explained her reasoning. With 280 creatures to kill, I can get through the entire fight caves, including Jad as a task. Not only is that a nice amount of slayer xp, she also said that if i manage to kill Jad within my slayer task, there would be "quite a nice bonus" (which i'm assuming to be more slayer xp, which i would definitely like, i don't think she would hand out more tokkul or a previously-unknown weapon).

 

So, has anyone else had this assignment, and moreso, has anyone else completed it? i'm a nice lvl118, 90hp/str, 86 range/mage/slayer, 85 att/def, 74 prayer, but i've never managed to get a fire cape. Twice i was struck down by the big-guy himself (in one hit), once i accidentally ran within melee distance of a 360, all my other myriad attempts were wasted with a net-dropout, before they fixed it so dropping out wouldn't lose your place (possibly due to my suggestion in the rsof, the fix came out 2 eeks after my suggestion was posted).

 

So i'm interested to know what this potential reward might be, if anyone else has (had) it please let me know, and i'm wondering what other goodies Kuradel might have in store for certain tasks. Bonus for killing the kbd on a black dragon task? (that would be nice, normally i solo the kbd for tasks anyway). Taking down the KQ? Do zamorak's demons in the gwd count as lessers or greaters?

This could prove to be one interesting slayer master...

The reward is a bonus 25k slayer xp for killing Jad.

I heard she gives like an extra 20k xp, though I have no proof. Also, pls don't spend your points on XP such a waste :XD:

Whole task + jad = 37k~ xp. Not bad if you can do it in around an hour.
