Hello. how is one sipposed to get a full set of any of the armor types required to complete the hard tasks in the diary? Key word there is ONE.

 

Also it says in the bestiary that the level 88 dags drop spined gloves and boots and lists them in the chaos tunnels as well as waterbirth dungeon. However under the spined boots and gloves in the items database it only says dropped by dags in the waterbirth dungeon? So again how can a single player obtain these items for themselves?

 

I even stooped so low as to try and buy them on the G.E., but there aren't any for sale.

 

Or is this whole Diary and new quest just another bunch of BS from Jagex trying to force interaction.

Fastest way to obtain them your self would be cannon walliski for the parts then kill dagganoths for the hides. Then take them to the relevant person in relakka to create any parts your missing from the skeleton set.

Of course you need a door partner, but just use burstinglobs cc and follow 2 others opening the door. That way your doing it all alone in a way.

Hmm. A couple of problems there. First, there are none for sale on the G.E. I have offers in for all three different sets. Second, I don't use cannons and wish that they were not even in the game. Third, why should I have to stand around and wait for someone to maybe show up to get into a dungeon area? That is just ridiculous. Fourth, what is burstinglobs cc?

1. They have been unbuyable (well instantly) on the GE since they first released the the diary

2. You could still do it without the cannon it would just take a lot longer.

3 + 4. burstinglobs is a cc which aims to provide a door partner within minutes, offers advise on summoning training as well as sharing rock lobster worlds. You want to get through a door without help then you'll have to wait for it to be open by someone else.

 

Seriously your limiting yourself massively by refusing to do certain things.

 

If your so desperate then go on RSOF and buy it for GE price + trade limit.

I agree with Joe. Also, alot of times, people don't sell the whole set together but will sell peices. This is how I bought mine to complete the hard tasks.

 

Try to lighten up a little and not get so mad over small things. There is always a way around difficulties. And, if it doesn't work right now, try again later. It will always be there. :grin:

The last time I did a dagannoth task, I killed them in the chaos tunnels and got all three special hides plus spined gloves and boots, so they do drop them there.

Great advice. I am encountering the same problem. I managed to buy two pieces but still need one more if you only need the three made pieces.

You need all five pieces to complete the requirement.
