Activation of Turmoil

I've been trying out turmoil recently, and love this prayer. However, I was wondering when the boost kicked in exactly, since it is based off the levels of the monster one attacks. The "Stat adjustment" bar doesn't show the 29% 32% 29% ADS boost until after my first hit lands. However, does the prayer's boost kick in for the first hit? As in, I turn on turmoil, and spec with AGS, will the full boost already be in effect, or not until the second hit?

Not until the second hit: first you get the fixed boost, then you get the supplementary boost. You will have to use turmoil two attacks if you want the extra boost too :)

Actually, the % goes up as soon as the first hit lands, but I wasn't sure if it activated as soon as I clicked the monster, or not.

You could test it yourself - check your max hit with piety, I think this is the same max hit with turmoil's base strength boost. Do you hit over that on your first hit?
