RuneHQ Christmas Parade and House Party

It's CHRIIISSTTMMAASSS!!! The time of joy is finally here. No matter whether you celebrate Christmas or not the snowy weather is sure to make you feel happy and festive and make you want to play RuneScape all day. So, that is just what we have planned to do! It's also another holiday period yaaaaaayyyyyy.

 

The Events Team will lead a Parade around RuneScape in our lovely Santa outfits, showing what RuneHQ is made of before settling down in Al Kharid for an extremely contradictory desert snowball fight (so make sure you bring your snow globes). You can also relish in some love train action led by The King Of The Love Train - Mechachomp .

 

RuneHQ staff should be online throughout the day skilling and chilling in the Clan Chat so come along for a fun-filled but relaxing day on RuneScape and above all else, have fun.

 

This event will be run on both a P2P and a F2P world and for P2P the day will conclude with a house party to celebrate! The first Parade will include The X Favour's Strength 99 Party (F2P) and the last Parade will include House Party (P2P) :D

 

There is something for everyone at Christmas time and we hope you can come along and enjoy the day with us :)

Australian parades: 2am CST / 8am GMT / 4pm AWST (F2P & P2P)

Rest of the World: 12pm CST / 6pm GMT (F2P) | AND | 1pm CST / 7pm GMT (P2P)

 

Meeting Place: Rimmington

Items Recommended: Santa Suit (Reward from the 2008 Christmas Event) and Snow Globe (Reward from the 2007 Christmas Event)

Lookback on the RuneHQ Christmas Parade 2008:

 

The F2P Parade was led by The X Favour (Skeletonmat before the name change) and the P2P Parade was led by Pac Sun Man. The event started from Rimmington and ended in Falador where we announced a huge drop party in World 112. Items worth tens of millions were dropped :)

well, technically runehq has always been invited to our parties, we've just never posted event posts on your forums as far as i'm aware, you all are more than welcome to come and have fun with us though, if i could get on i'd come to your event.

I won't be coming, I partied myself out last night with TET :thumbsup:

I have posted some countdown timers :) Now you shoud know when the events will start if you did not understand the starting times ;) The first countdown will show when the Australian parades will start (F2P and P2P, both will start at the same time in Worlds 55 (F2P) and 60 (P2P)). The second coundown will show the time when 'Rest Of The World' F2P Parade will start in World 55 and the third will show when the 'Rest Of The World' P2P Parade will start in World 60. :D
