I've heard that you can make some decent cash off them. What's the method and the gp/hr?

Use fruitfall scrolls, pick up papayas, then wait, pot, or duel to restore summ points. Bank, or use a tool leprechaun to note them.

 

If you wait for the points to come back on their own, make use of the waiting time by alching, chopping ivy, etc. I like to do laps around the gnome agility course and note at the tree patch.
