Serpent Eye
Hi, guys. :^_^: I've come looking for some methods to train my Magic skill from 71 to 75, using methods that don't involve combat. I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give! I only have access to normal and Lunar magicks, not Ancients. So far, I've been told that I should look into Alching or Superheating, preferably Superheating as it would train my Smithing at the same time. Any suggestions on what I should Superheat? I'm currently level 61 Smithing. As far as Alching goes, if I went this route, should I just continue to Alch Yew longbows? If anyone has any techniques other than Alching or Superheat, I'd also appreciate hearing those! And of course, if you have combat-involved methods to suggest, feel free to say as well, although please know I may not take your advice :P Thanks! :^_^:

Serpent Eye
What jewelery would you suggest Enchanting?
010jonathan
What jewelery would you suggest Enchanting?Mainly rings: sapphire, emerald and ruby rings. About bracelets I'm not sure. Amulets aren't worth it as they don't desintegrate and thus there's less demand to sell them back at the G.E.
homowz
about enchanting, u probably beter enchant bolts in stead of jewelry.. i know ruby and diamond bolts are a good way of training tho the unenchented version might take some time to buy on ge... u can alch, probaly fastest way at your lvl. dont alch yew longs tho :s they are sometimes way to enoying to buy and way to much loss, u beter check ge for summ pouches (when i alched swamp titans were like only 60loss ...) the humidify spell is very fast and handy, but like all fast things, theres a price attached... superheating is good, not that fast xp but low cost to profit... best is buying mith ores and coal and superheat them. is a loss of 50gp/superheat so less then alching most stuff (gp/xp wise) but ofc twice as slow... Serpent Eye
010jonathan, thanks so much for your advice! :) homowz, I have a question about Humidify, and hopefully it doesn't seem like a stupid one, haha. According to our Tip.It calculator, I need to cast about 5.1K Humidify spells to get to 75. Rather than buying enough empty vials for 5.1K inventories-worth of casts, can't I just buy 5.1K vials, and cast Humidify with only one vial in my invent? Seems like this would save me the trouble of having to buy... uh... 130K-ish vials.

If you cast the spell with a whole inventory, the cost of the spell is divided by like 25 vials. If you use it on 1 vial, you'll make a lot of loss. If you just use that spell at the G.E and every time you have like 1k wf vials put it on the G.E., you'll have money at the time you run out of vials to buy new vials etc. You shouldn't have all those vials at 1 time, as you won't NEED to do all humidify spells on 1 strike.
