Let me wield my members items

Featured Replies

on a free server. obviously providing I have the member credit(which i do). Or say if its equipped already, and you change to f2p server, you can still use it? I swear this was possible before rs2(i dunno, i wasnt a member then). And then if you unequip on f2p server you cant re-equip, cos now if i go on f2p server and have to fight, I have to have f2p weapons. I've just thought of what people will counter with, the wilderness, implement some sort of failsafe so that it cant be used on other players, or in the wilderness(like it gets unequipped, or theres a validation check). It's a small thing, but it'd be nice. I know you can already have them equipped for other people to see, but you cant use them, i'd like to be able to.

Way to ruin f2p for everyone.

The whole point of having p2p items is to use them on a p2p server. How can you justify the fairness in letting you use items others can't have on a server for your distinct advantage?

He clearly stated you couldn't USE them on the free server...just equip them. I for one get annoyed when I accidentally click a member item I am wearing on a free world, and in order to put it back on, I have to log out, switch to a member server, log in, put it back on, log out, and go back to the free server.

So yes, I'd like this...but I don't know if Jagex could do it or not, coding-wise.

In rs, your items would unequip, since they were still in your inventory when equipped. Using them in f2p is a terrible idea. Equip rune arrows, magic bow, black hide in p2p, go to f2p, and own everything in sight.

There is no reason you should be in f2p, if youre a member, unless youre trading someone, or world hopping, and in that case, you dont need armor or a weapon. If youre one of those people who takes new items to f2p to make them jealous, then you are pathetic.

Why is it so important to wear members items in free world?

for f2p it is just terrible when someone comes with dragon stuff

he owns everyone! If you want to use p2p stuff, go on p2p servers.

im afraid that yes, yes i did. i want to use them on f2p, but only on like npc monsters, not on other players. besides, jagex would love me advertising p2p items on f2p servers, encourages more people to get p2p=more money to them. its just cos i need my bank space(whch thanfuly i can use on f2p) and theres my rune long, which i'd get rid of, but in the event of ever fighting stuff on f2p i keep.

okay if u had 5 posion rune arrows and a magic long bow and used special all f2p would be screwed

then again thats a great idea

Well, simply put, that's not fair :)

This is interesting in that it reverses the usual f2p/p2p argument. Many f2ps are always asking for advantages they don't pay for. That would be unfiar to p2ps. Well, what's described in this topic would actually be unfair to the f2ps. They deserve to have their world the way it is, with no member items at all.
