November 3, 200520 yr Ok we are reading lord of the flies in English, and for the past few days we have done this cool thing where we got into groupes and called them islands. We were like the groupe of deciders amongst 50 people (as in we crashed on the island and there are 50 people but the people in class are the deciders). Well i know i cant organize people into councels and what not, so everyone just post how you would run yours, meaning answer these quesiton: 1. List 5 items you salvage from the plane wreck 2.How will you govern yourselves? Will you elect a leader, operate as a collective, not bother wtih government, ect... 3. How will you devide the workload? 4.In correct order from 1-10 list the first 10 actions your society will undertake? 5.Write a short constitution that outlines your society's values, must have atleast 5 6. Creat a code of law for your society, include at least 10 punishable offences, and the general temrs of disciplinary sanctioning. Ok I want people to just post these.... try not to comment on eachothers much. At some time i will stop allowing any more islands made... for further things. My groupes was: 1.Machette flint a Pot first aid kit Tarp 2. We will run as a democracy. 3. We will make a dictated rotary chore list (Everyone must do everything meaning that a person does this one day, next day they do another thing, roating) 5. 1first aid 2make fire 3make shelter 4make signals 5find water 6find food 7find a meeting place 8find a storage place 9 creat chores list 10 search island 6.-Equal, fair -Must obey the Democracy -must ration food -must help others when need be -must show respect to others 7. November 3, 200520 yr We did something similar in fifth grade The class of 18 split into three groups (Three different ships coming to settle america). I wish we would do this again, it was fun :D (mainly because I was the one to ration out ship supplies :twisted: ... I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

Eco-Anarchism 3. How will you devide the workload? Meh. People will do what they're best at. All rounders will be more like 'on call' staff who can just go around helping anyone who needs it. 4.In correct order from 1-10 list the first 10 actions your society will undertake? 1. First aid 2. Find water 3. Find food 4. Ration everything 5. Make shelter 6. Scout out other locations to live 7. Stick around till food gets low 8. Move to new place 9. Go to 2 If no one can understand that concept it is really broken down from what people like the Aboriginies did. They stay at one place for a few months or so, then when they moved on to the next place they'd slash and burn where they were to stimulate new growth. They'd go through 4 or 5 places in a year and just cycle through them. 5.Write a short constitution that outlines your society's values. 1. Tribe comes first. Dunno about anything else. 6. Creat a code of law for your society, include at least 10 punishable offences, and the general temrs of disciplinary sanctioning. Meh. If I think of anything the punishment will be expoltion from the tribe depending on the severity.
